I'm in the midst of rehearsals for "Kinkakuji" ~
I haven't worn these KINKAKUJI sneakers for a while
This heightened feeling of nervousness in rehearsals feels just right
I'm submerging myself into this world again
It's during those times
I come to fully realize
that this stageplay is really interesting
So that's what its like for me these days
How's everthing going for everyone?
In the Kansai area
"Shin Minami Teio" will be starting soon~
And tonight is
"Kokoro"
[The guest is] Miwa Akihiro-san!
The first show of this year
it's already so
amazing

[7] Everyone

Happy
New Year!
The year 2012
What are you all up to?
As for myself
on New Years, for the first time in a few years
I went back to Osaka and
THE typical New Years!
esque
was the type of New Years I was able to take part in and
after quickly getting over my "New Years-lag"
I am now spending day after day rehearsing for the stageplay "Kinkakuji"
Starting with the opening of the stageplay at the Kanagawa Arts Theatre
then New York
and then
this time we'll be performing in Osaka and Tokyo
I don't often get a chance to work on one work for this long
but it made me realize what a great thing it is
I've seen the script over and over again but
The new side that I can see now
the ways that I can express it, I still come across such findings often
The rehearsals are really fulfilling
And that very
"Kinkakuji" will be starting and
so will the taiga drama
"Taira no Kiyomori"!
And so with that said
Including this year as well
This year

The last day of 2011
So it is
This year
A lot of things happened
In the world
and Japan
and myself
Through all that
if I had to say one word
It really was
a "thankful"
year
For being able to be in an environment that helped me grow all this time
For all the people I've met in my life
I'll probably come to really realize that as time goes on.
Right now
To every single
person I meet or the work I get to do
I just feel so much happiness
And for making me really feel all these emotions
For being the way it is right now
I'm thankful
So with that said
Next year
Even more than now!
Shun-soku!
I'm planning on running through at full speed so

For the filming of "Zip!"*
I've always loved
that
dream world,
Toys "R" Us
I got to go there and
I ended up finding something amazing there...!
The name of it is
"The Strange Umai-bou Stick Party"*
What this is, is
The name itself is self-explanatory
It makes the umai-bou into sticks and its a strange item that makes you want to have a party
Not only that!
It actually
You can cut it into a spiral shape
and you can put it together with a different flavored one
and you can create your very own original flavor!
Amazing
It's a fresh breath of air in the world of umai-bou
If I had come across this when I was still a student
without a doubt, I would've been the popular one in the class
